I'm a Daddy's girl, always will be.
Being my Dad's only girl I definitely feel a special bond with my Dad. I feel very lucky to have a Dad who taught his sons and daughter so many things. I don't know anyone else who knows so much about so many different topics. Things I learned from my Dad cover anything from how to sand and paint my own car at sixteen, working hard at his shop then fitting in time to play hard in the desert, enjoying physical activity like swimming, running, hiking and more, how to four wheel drive and get myself out of tough situations not only with cars but other things as well. He taught me to love learning and that combining learning with common sense is invaluable, he taught me about being honest with myself, and even though he's an ocean away he still teaches me when I talk to him on the phone about things like 401 K's and investing. My dad always amazes me with his knowledge but most of all I'm amazed at the wonderful, dedicated, loving father he Always is. I love you so much Dad!

Why my mom is the greatest
My mom despite becoming a mother so young always handled difficult situations
So maturely. My mom despite it being challenging could see I loved to dance and
always made sure it was possible. My mom always found ways to buy me Guess and
Girbaud Jeans without blowing the budget, which lead to teaching me how to find
anything I need in a thrift store. Thanks to my mom I always had the best ever
Valentine box every year and had so much fun making it with her. My mom whom I
Have only been on a plane once with, made every camping trip the biggest
adventure with treasure hunts, water balloon fights in the dessert, putting
together a jungle orchestra in a red rock amphitheater and five star meals
by the camp fire(I could go on and on about camping adventures). My mom despite
being an ocean away still makes me and her grand kids feel like we are the most
important things in her world.
We love you and miss you so much mom.
Happy Mother's Day!

This was the other side of the 7 canyons, which I hope to backpack some day.
This really was the perfect trip. I got to see my parents. They planned out all the excursions, and helped us maximize our time, not to mention putting us up in their home and Zach and I got some time to play in the waves. I hope we can do it again next year.
We loved our time with Grandma and Grandpa and will miss them so much!
This was an old sugar mill or something that got taken out by the tsunami in the 40's. Made for great pics.
Wiapio valley is definitely the most beautiful place I have ever seen. We thought we'd walk down the steep road while grandma and grandpa drove with the little ones, very sore the next day. Thanks to Grandpa we were all able to get to the bottom, you have to have four wheel drive (Kinda his Forte).
